As we just get to know each other I’d like to ask you some basics: Who came up with the idea for the band name?
Davey: AJÂ…Â…
Aj: That would be me! It was a case of when we first had the idea for the band, there were a lot of old has been bands out on the scene, and we saw ourselves as the new generation of stars.
Davey: (laughs) But now we are neither!
How did you guys get into known each other?
Davey: Well I have known Aj and Tony for a long time, maybe too long (laughs), and Chris answered an advert in a record shop when we advertised for a drummer.
How long does the band exist now and where there any big changes between band members?
Chris: We have been around for 2 years.
Davey: We all just work well together.
Did you ever reach the point you thought you wouldn’t do this anymore you wanted to quit the band?
Davey: No, Never.
Chris (laughs): When Davey joined!
Aj: I will stop when I order my KISS coffin!
Tony: Sometimes I think the time is nearÂ… (Laughs)
Is your music some kind of an outlet for you?
Aj: It’s an outlet for all our artistic talent really.
You can often hear that wild musicians are very gentle in private life. Like Keith Flint (the Prodigy)... rumours say he’s looking after his rose garden at home. How about you? Do you like the wild Rock n Roll lifestyle or do you like it more relaxed?
Tony: (laughs) I would love to go to Keith Flint’s Rose garden.
Davey: We rock 24/7!!
Chris: (laughs) yeah Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 6-11pm more like.
Aj: (laughs) Sometimes Bank Holidays!!
How does your band/music develop in your home country England?
Chris: There is a really diverse healthy scene for Rock in our country. We our developing with just touring, constantly rehearsing and working hard.
Tony: Particularly the past 6 months.
Davey: Getting a manager has sorted everyone out.
Aj: Releasing the album and joining online communities like Trig.com and My Space have helped spread the word.
How long did the recording for your current album take?
Aj: 4 days, mixed mastered and produced!!
Chris: That was a really good achievement, and recording with Alan Smyth, who recorded with Arctic Monkeys was amazing.
Did anything extraordinary happen while recording?
Tony: Not reallyÂ…Davey became D-Lo (like J-lo diva)
Chris: Davey forgot most of his parts (laughs)
Davey: Â…No I didn’t. I went Ill for an hour and had to lie down, then I was fine.
Chris: Again the most extraordinary thing was actually recording with the great Alan Smith.
Are there many bands like yours in UK?
Aj: Not reallyÂ…
Tony: There are bands with a similar ethos like The Wildhearts, that punky rock n roll sound.
Davey: I would say we are pretty unique really.
In which country would you like to go on tour?
Chris: Scandinavia.
Tony: Germany.
Davey: all over EuropeÂ… Finland.
Aj: Sweden, and again all over Europe.
With which band would you like to tour with?
Davey: Raging Slab
Aj: Manowar
Tony: Backyard Babies
Chris: Everyone
Have you ever played outside England? What´s the difference between audience in UK and somewhere else?
Davey: No Never! But we would love to get to play to our overseas fans.
What was the most amazing place you ever had a concert?
Davey: The Rock N Blues in Derbyshire!
Aj: We played supporting Michael Schenkner and the Scorpions.
Tony: Yeah it was an amazing gig.
Will you play or did you already play at some festivals this Summer?
Aj: The Rock and Blues we have already played, which is a very big festival in the UK. It’s mainly motorbike related, but it is a huge site with 2 stages.
Tony: There were over 5,000 people there.
Davey: We are also doing the Rock of Ages festival in Tamworth with Blaize Bailey (ex Iron Maiden) for Cancer Research.
Have you ever been to Germany?
Davey: No never, but I would like to.
Aj: I have been 4 times, I really love Germany. Cologne Rocks!!
Chris: I have been to Germany loadsÂ…I really love it, especially the Black Forest.
Have you already made plans for touring through Germany?
Chris: Our manager is building up a few contacts, so hopefully we will get to play soon.
Aj: Yeah we would love to hear from venues and places who would like to put us on. We need dates, shows, promotion and money.
Did you already get some feedback on your songs and shows? If yes: How is the feedback?
Chris: We got a maximum 5k review in Kerrang for one of our live shows not too long ago.
Davey: We also where on a Classic Rock magazine cd, and they said we were “Vintage Guns N Roses with melodies of The Wildhearts”, that was awesome!
Aj: We always make sure we get to talk to fans at shows we play. We also love to go around at gigs and chat to people, see how they have enjoyed the show.
Tony: Yeah, the best feedback you can get is from the fans. After all that’s who we are playing for, so everyone can have a good time and enjoy the show.

Do you want to reach a special audience with your music or do you just don´t care?
Tony: We just want to reach anyone who likes our music!
Davey: Yeah, we want to touch everyone with our music.
Chris: We do write the music we like to hear, if everyone likes it too that’s great.
Is there a message you want to propagate with your music?
Aj: For people to have a good time all the time.
Davey: We want everyone to rock with usÂ….
Chris: Yeah not against us! (laughs)
What are you thinking of when you are on stage?
Aj: (Laughs) Who is going to mess up next.
Davey: What chord im going to play next (laughs)
Chris: I don’t think about anything really.
Davey: Just thinking about the crowds reaction really.
Aj: Yeah, feeding off the buzz of the crowd.
What was the funniest thing that happened while touring ?
Aj: Davey attacking a girl with a guitar pick.
Davey: No!...i went to give a girl a guitar pick, and everyone started playing, so I had to grab it back off her, I didn’t have time to get another one.
Chris: And you threw one and it hit a girl in the eye (laughs)
What´s your most favourite live song (of your own songs)?
Aj: Bleed

Is there a song you´d like to do a coverversion of?
Everyone: Prime mover - Zodiac Mindwarp.
Davey: I would like to do “Daydream believer” by the Monkees.
Tony: Fight Song by Marylin Manson.
Aj: Anything by KISS or Manowar.
In your opinion... what´s best and what´s worst thing about being in a band?
Davey: Loading the gear in and out.
Chris: waiting to get on stage.
Tony: For me it’s the travelling.
Aj: yeah packing the gear away for me too.
What´s your muse whenever you need some inspiration?
Aj: Just life mainly, and our experiences.
What do you relate to Germany?
Aj: Awesome rock fans who are really into the music, so heartfelt!
Chris: Yeah the fans are really into the music, it’s really cool.
Davey: Accept and The ScorpionsÂ…they are cool.
Tony: Really great bands, nice sausages and cool people.
